POSITION:
MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
We are searching for a Manager – Business Development to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, you should have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Salary: As per the Industry Standards.

Duties:
•Represent company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and to convince existing and potentials customers how our products meet needs.
•Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets in Gaborone and outer Gaborone areas
•Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales representatives for next steps to realise the sales
•Act as key account manager to maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts
•Routing visits, calling, and emailing to key corporate and retail customers to generate new sales opportunities.
•Effectively manage sales contracts, negotiations and close new business deals with other potential customers, working closely with the Management team.
•Assessing the pricing and profitability of the products, Highlight and propose price amendments to the Management team.
•Conduct product and technical training internally and externally.
•Guiding sales team on sales achievements and resolving disputes / customer complaints.
•Sharing new sales leads with sales team and engage in marketing and promotional activities.
Required Competencies and Skill:
•Solid experience with proven results within a previous Sales Management role preferably within same industry
•Proven track record in field of sales and business development
•Previous experience in Cleaning Chemicals, Paper Products, Cleaning Equipment Washroom, Laundry and Kitchen Hygiene is not a requirement, however, would be highly advantageous
•Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
•Ability to provide guidance feedback and direction to the team
•Background dealing with Government entities will be advantageous, but not essential.
