Key Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the College’s ICT infrastructure, systems, and technical environment.
• Support and maintain physical and virtual servers, network services, backups, and recovery systems.
• Provide level 1 and level 2 technical support to end users and assist in improving helpdesk services.
• Manage and support Active Directory, user accounts, access rights, and related security controls.
• Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and maintain LAN, WAN, and remote access systems.
• Support and maintain end-user devices, software installations, upgrades, and routine configurations.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services, including platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and DigitalOcean.
• Maintain ICT hardware, software, licenses, warranties, support contracts, and consumables.
• Oversee ICT asset records, technical documentation, reports, and user advisory guidelines.
• Support ICT-related procurement, installations, vendor engagements, and contractor coordination.
• Conduct end-user training, workshops, and staff guidance on ICT tools and solutions.
• Collaborate with teams on software deployment, development environments, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Undertake any other duties consistent with the nature and level of the post as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of systems administration, network infrastructure, and ICT support services.
• Good understanding of servers, virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and task prioritisation skills.
• Good communication, customer support, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Good documentation, planning, organisational, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to new technologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in areas such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Fortinet, Sophos, AWS, Azure, or related fields will be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in ICT infrastructure, systems administration, network administration, technical support, or a related field.
• Experience supporting servers, networks, end-user devices, ICT operations, and cloud services.
• Experience in an educational institution will be an added advantage.
• Must possess relevant academic qualifications from a recognised institution.
• Professional ICT certifications will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to work across different sites and travel where required in fulfilment of the role.
