VACANCY; TEMPORARY NIGHTWATCHMAN (1 POST)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens for the above-mentioned post tenable at the Ministry of Youth Empowerment. Sport and Culture Development – Gweta Community Library.

SALARY SCALE: A1 Bottom notch (P41. 784 00 – P48. 660.00)

ANNUAL LEAVE: 20 Working Days per annum

QUALIFICATION: A minimum of Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) or Junior Certificate (J.C)

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To guard the Library premises to ensure Safety of property during the night on a daily basis

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• To patrol the premises to detect damages and prevent trespassers from entering the premises
• To inspect the physical facilities e.g. buildings and other movable properties
• To put the National Flag up and down at stipulated times

• To switch off lights during the day and switch them on during the night
• Undertakes any other duty as may be required to meet the exigencies of the service
