Temporary Quantity Surveyor – North West District Council

Applications are invited suitably qualified BOTSWANA CITIZEN for the Two (2) position of Temporary Quantity Surveyor for a 12 months (1 year) tenable in North West District Council, ( Maun Administrative Authority and Okavango Sub District Council)

SALARY: C1 (P144, 072) per annum.

LEAVE: 30 working days per annum.

QUALIFICATION: Degree in Quantity Surveying

BENEFITS: 40% Scare Skills and Housing & Upkeep Allowance

EXPERIENCE: At least two years’ experience in related field

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To prepare bill of quantities for building projects

   

   

DUTIES

• Liaises with other building professionals as necessary to obtain information required for preparing cost estimates.
• Prepares Bills of Quantity to guide in the preparation of the budget of the project.
• Monitors building projects progress to carry out cost control analysis in order to avoid possible cost overrun and suggests preventive measures.
• Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management
