Sidilega Private Hospital is looking to employ Bill Auditors

An opportunity has arisen for the above position at Sidilega Private Hospital in Gaborone Block 7, which is expected to be completed towards the end of 2018. The citizen owned multi-specialty tertiary care hospital is expected to attract Batswana and the rest of the SADC region for medical and health care services.

Critical Outputs:

• Effective auditing of all Inpatient files to ensure data accuracy, identify any deviations and recommend corrective measures
• Ensure that professionals fees are billed accurately as per BHF standards
• Develop and maintain sound relationships with internal customers to achieve co-operation and compliance with audit processes
• Compile and submit a monthly bill audit report to Management
• Ensure effective auditing of all inpatients documentation
• Analyze data trends relating to rejections and short payments and escalate
• Monitor effectively compliance to patient services process
• Ensure effective delivery of quality customer care
• Ensure that all Inpatient bills submitted to Funders are complete and accurate

Requirements:

• Diploma in General Nursing or Degree
• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Botswana
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of hospital patient services and billing processes in Private Hospital industry
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of CPT & ICD-10 coding
• Knowledge of Funder contracts, scheme rules, exclusions and benefits
• Knowledge of Case Management and Pre-admission process in a Private

Hospital

• Computer proficiency
