- Interpret curriculum and assessment standards, guidelines and criteria for the education and training providers, and assessment centers
- Schedule, coordinate and organise seminars and workshops with target audience
- Develop and disseminate information leaflets and pamphlets
- Respond to web based queries and provide guidance
- Develop a FAQ for curriculum and assessments
- Prepare manuals and guidelines for review by the head before dissemination
- Communicate the standards for curriculum design to relevant stakeholders
- Keep close personal contact with education and training providers, advise and guide them on the interpretation of the standards for curriculum
Key Performance Indicators
Quality of support, advice, assistance and guidance Position Requirements:
Education:
- At least a Degree in Education from a recognised institution or any other relevant qualification acceptable to BQA.
- A Masters in Education from a recognised institution would be an added advantage Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar function within an education and training environment (institutional or regulatory)
- Experience in NQF systems and/or Curriculum Development or teacher education and training. Required Competencies:
- Knowledge of the provisions of the National Credit and Qualifications Framework
- Knowledge of Education and Training sector policies/strategies in Botswana.
- Computer literate and experience with systems and applications in the specific work area.

Remuneration
BQA offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities and challenges of the job.
Terms of employment
Fixed term contract of 1-5 years for Managerial Positions and above and Permanent and Pensionable terms for officer positions and below.
