POSITION: EARLY CHILDHOOD DAYCARE TEACHER

The Botswana Christian AIDS Intervention Programme is a Non – Governmental faith-based Organisation registered in 1999. It offers HIV prevention and AIDS care. Community TB care. Orphans and Vulnerable Children care and Community Mobilisation of HIV prevention and Gender-based Violence programs. We operate in 13 districts (centres) across Botswana.

We are looking for an Early Childhood Care Teachers to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facilities. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. The position is based in Molepolole-Bana Ba Keletso.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. The candidate should be a Christian, (reference from your church pastor should be submitted together with the application)
2. Willing to work extended times when the need arises.
3. Should have a Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Development.
4. Should have at least 2 years’ experience working with children and handling children’s issues
5. Should be innovative and willing to work with minimal supervision
6. Able to collate and compile reports
7. Training in psychosocial support would be an added advantage
8. A mature person from the age of 18 to 35 years
9. Should not have a criminal record
