Our client in the mining industry is looking to employ a suitably qualified candidate for the Radiographer position, based at the mine in Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing imaging services to the employees and the public.
Specification
• X-Rays
Conduct X-Rays within set time frame.
• Ultrasonography
Perform diagnostic ultrasonography services
Provide Reports
• Stock Management
Order and control Radiological and ultrasound consumables
•X-Ray and Ultrasound equipment and Maintenance
Maintain x-ray and ultrasound equipment to standard
Produce and ensure planned maintenance programme and implementation
• Safety Health Environment
Ensure environmental radiation within prescribed limits
Send dosimetry badges to Radiation Protection on a monthly basis
• Reporting
Produce accurate monthly reports on time on key indicators
Requirements
• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
• Degree in Ultrasonography
• Registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council
• Minimum of five years’ post qualification experience in a similar role
• Experience in the mining industry would be an added advantage
