AML/CFT OFFICER – OPERATIONS wanted at Old Mutual Botswana

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will be responsible for the tactical execution of Old Mutual Life’s AML/CFT program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Be responsible for ensuring FIA compliance by having daily oversight of AML/CFT & Sanctions Screening processes, policies, systems and controls across the company

• Ensure that FIA Internal rules are properly aligned with current legislative requirements and are kept up to date

• Assist in the development and maintenance of effective AML/CFT policies and standards across the company and ensure that such policies and standards are embedded within the businesses operational procedures

• Be accountable for the coordination and arrangement of all AML/CFT inspections by Regulators

• Maintain a register of key risks and emerging trends in AML/CFT across the company. This will include monitoring and keeping oneself up to date with developments domestically and internationally

• Oversee the investigation and reporting of suspicious transaction reports to the relevant external authorities and any resulting investigations with the relevant authorities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, you must have

:• CoP (Short-Term Insurance)

• Business or Law degree

• +1 year relevant experience in an AML/CFT space
AML Certificate will be an added advantage
