Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description

Reporting to the Structural Division Head and/or Project Leader. Responsible for all design and supervision aspects of structural and civil projects in Botswana and other African countries. Including high rise buildings, liquid retaining structures, reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, steel structures, masonry, timber and other specialist materials.

Strong leadership skills to manage teams, make decisions, solve complex problems, deliver to tight deadlines; and maintain quality and ISO standards and procedures.

Job Requirements

1. ERB Professional Registration
2. 12 years relevant post-graduate experience
3. Comprehensive knowledge of local and international standards
4. Thorough understanding of structural engineering first principals
5. Structural analysis and design software, 3D Modelling (Revit) is an advantage
