REGISTERED NURSES (Haemodialysis (x4), ICU (14), Med/surgical (x11), Theatre (x8) LDRP (x3), A&E (x5), Peads (x2) and NICU Unit (x4) (x51 positions) – LENMED – BOKAMOSO PRIVATE HOSPITAL

He/she will be responsible for direct and indirect nursing care of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient’s needs.

KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Ensures that all documentation is maintained timeously and accurately reflecting patient care.
• Careful assessment and monitoring of patient progress in order to watch for sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Prepared to work long hours and deal with acutely and chronically ill patients on a daily basis.
• Calculation and administration of medication.
• Keep abreast with current research and development
• activities within the organization.
• Knowledgeable and sensitive to patient’s rights in the delivery of care.
