AUTOMATION MANAGER wanted at UV Botswana (Pty) Ltd

A Francistown based Engineering Company requires the sendees of an AUTOMATION MANAGER.

The applicant should have the following qualifications and experience.

• Degree in Software Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 5 years’ experience in the programming of computer software.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility essential.
• Thorough knowledge of C+ and C++ software coding.
• Knowledge of TMM software and code development.
• Must have a working knowledge of vehicle hydraulics.
• Must have a working knowledge of vehicle electrics.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings, electrical schematics and hydraulic schematics..
• Must be familiar with ISO 9000 Quality system and its implementation as applicable for automation of vehicles.
• Must be able to introduce new Quality Control Systems where required.
• Must have experience in training of staff in quality systems within their sphere of operation.
• Must be self-disciplined and motivated and have the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
• Must be able to work under extreme pressure to meet deadlines
• Must have a Class B drivers Licence.
• Must be prepared to travel outside of Botswana for extended periods.
