ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES: SHORT TERM/ REINSURANCE BROKING (x3 Positions) wanted at First Sun Alliance (Pty) Ltd

First Sun Alliance (Pty) Ltd is a composite insurance broking company operating under licence of NBFIRA Act 46.1 per the Insurance Act 46.1 with offices in Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

The Company seeks suitable candidates to manage its Compliance and Finance functions based in Botswana: –

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES: SHORT TERM/ REINSURANCE BROKING

Number of position(s) to be filled – Three (3) Must have proven experience and short term business book.

The Job entails:

• New business acquisition, development and administration
• Portfolio design and presentation- sourcing quotations, packaging portfolios for presentations to clients and closing business as per set targets.
• Administrative structuring: setting up technical, staffing, information systems, etc.
• Renewals and endorsements – attend to portfolio renewals and endorsements as per set targets and supervise junior staff on the same.
• Accountable for total servicing of department including: Claims handling, Debtors and Creditors control, Production and Expenditure Budgeting
• Reports and variance analysis – to produce monthly income reports and variance analysis to inform management on portfolio performance.

Qualifications and experience

• Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in long term insurance or similar
• Tertiary qualification – Diploma, preferably insurance/marketing related.
• Proven minimum of five years of life insurance sales and marketing service.
• Proven minimum experience of five years at a supervisory level preferably in Botswana.
