Country Manager / CEO / Head of Operations

Non-negotiable requirements:

Botswana Citizenship or work permit (Must be eligible to work in Botswana)

Must have worked for the mining industry or an Original Equipment Manufacturing(OEM) company.

Strong Financial Background

Strategy implementation and formulation experience

University Degree in Engineering(Mining or mechanical)/Business Management/MBA

Be result orientated professional with a proven track record in marketing and sales.

8 years minimum in a Senior Management role

8 years people management experience

Must have overseen the operations function( HR, Logistics, Finance, SHEQ) in the mining industry

Main functions of the role:

This role will report to the GM in South Africa, the successful individual will head up the operations in Botswana

Its important for the individual to have product and application knowledge in the mining space.

Be responsible for Profit and Loss, the balance sheet and the cash flow of the business.

Develop the business with the objective of providing all the organizations divisions their best chance in the market.

Lead, coach, motivate and inspire employees towards continuous success

Maintain high customer satisfaction

Focus on getting new customers in Botswana

Support, train and grow the business as well as the people in line with innovation, commitment and collaboration.
