ACCOUNTS CLERK

JOB PURPOSE

Accountable to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for among other things the following:

• To execute the day-to-day activities of the accounting and finance division to ensure timely and accurate preparation of accounts.

REQUIREMENTS!

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/AAT and membership of an internationally recognized institute of professional accountants e.g., ACCA, CIMA, BICA.

Experience

Two (2) years of experience in a similar position.

Knowledge

General knowledge in Accounting and Finance; – Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting and tax concepts, financial statements, trial balance, financial record keeping process and books of accounts. Ability to record financial transaction.
