CREDIT CONTROLLER- Gaborone

Role Description: NBL Botswana requires a persistent, target-driven credit controller, who will be responsible for the full credit control function of assigned accounts.

Key Performance Areas:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly Financial statements
• Statements – prints monthly customer statements and as requested by customer
• Follow up on customer queries and provide necessary documentation to resolve problems on time.
• Payment of debtors accounts, processing credit notes, handling petty cash
• Journals for discounts and rebates
• New accounts – creation of new customers on the SAP system
• Credit limits are maintained and reviewed.
• Ensuring trade returns and damages are processed and reflect on the debtors accounts
• Ensuring latest prices and deals are loaded on SAP and correspond with the pricing agreed with customer
• Responsible for allocating customer payments to the appropriate account
• Reconciliation of current account, debtors account and Accrual GL account

Competencies and knowledge:

• Basic computer literacy (windows word outlook excel etc.)
• Exposure to financial systems: preferably SAP

Qualifications and Experience:

• AAT/ACCA or any accounting qualification
• 2-3 years’ experience in a Financial administration role
• BICA membership
• SAP knowledge
• Valid drivers license
