Purpose of the role:

The role requires a dedicated Project Engineer specializing in both Electrical Distribution Works and Building Services. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of electrical distribution and building services projects. Your role will involve coordinating with internal stakeholders, clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

1. Managing and overseeing the execution of electrical distribution and building services projects from initiation to completion.

2. Going out to solicit business from both private and public enterprises using own connections and company brand equity.

3. Developing project scopes, objectives, and plans, including budget and resource allocation.

4. Managing performance of all project teams to ensure safety, efficiency and profitability of operations.

5. Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are met.

6. Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies to assess project needs and constraints.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree an advantage.

2. Minimum 5 years as an engineer plus at least 3 years running projects of a value not less than 1 million per project.

3. Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g. SRDS, IEEE, NESC).

4. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

5. Experience working on BPC distribution is a definite advantage.
