Outdoor Media Sales Officer – Kani’s Investments (Pty) Ltd

Kani’s Investments (Pty) Ltd owns a subsidiary that builds and manages outdoor media across Botswana.  Currently our holding includes a digital billboard, static billboards and streetpoles.

Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual with sales experience to take up the role of outdoor media sales officer.  This role requires strong sales skills, relationship-building abilities, and an understanding of the outdoor advertising market. 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:

• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales of outdoor advertising inventory
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal presentation, contract negotiation, and deal closure.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, including advertising agencies and direct brands.
• Collaborate with clients to understand marketing goals and create tailored OOH advertising solutions.

Campaign Management & Coordination:

• Oversee the execution of OOH advertising campaigns to ensure alignment with brand and marketing objectives.

Market Research & Strategy:

• Staying up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to optimize sales strategies. 

Performance Reporting:

• Maintain regular reporting for senior management on revenue, leads, and campaign outcomes.

Company branding:

• Creating and positioning the company brand among competitors through different media platforms.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the OOH
• Previous experience in Out of Home (OOH) media is highly advantageous.

Skills:

• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop persuasive proposals and custom advertising strategies.

Other:

• Valid drivers license

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field .
