DESCRIPTION
To undertake a wide range of Human Resources tasks such as recruitment, organizing trainings, administering employee benefits, performance management, and human resource information systems and human resources administration functions within the Centre.
Key Performance Areas
• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of the performance management system to ensure that it is equitably and correctly implemented.
• capture and maintain the Human Resource information Systems (HRIS) to ensure that data is accurate, up to date and available for preparation of management reports.
• conduct periodic audits of talent within the centre ensure that information is available for planning and allocation of resources.
• Administer compensation and benefit plans
• Administer talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
• Support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Develop and implement human resource policies
• Analyze HR metrics and recommend solutions
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and organizing team building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations in all HR processes
• Attend to grievance and disciplinary matters.
Key Knowledge and Skills
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist
• Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
• Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office: HRIS systems (e.g. Sage 300 and Direct Hire)
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach

Job Requirement
Degree in Human Resources Management. Organisational and Industrial Psychology. Social Sciences or similar;
Minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience with three (3) years spent at a level of HR Officer level.
