Job Title: Sales Support & Administration Trainee

Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful candidate will be exposed to and responsible for providing support to the sales team (Direct & Indirect) and customer during the sales process, converting walk-in clients and be part of delivering a superior customer experience to all the Seriteq’s new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with internal departments to create good customer experience.
  • Facilitating for orders to be implemented for both Direct and Indirect Sales.
  • Attending to customer inquiries, generating orders, and tracking their status internally as well as proactively informing customers of their order status.
  • Collecting tenders from all digital and print mediums for the sales team to respond and supporting to deliver a winning bid.
  • Responding to customer complaints and queries to ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an accessible and organised filing system for sales and administrative professionals.
  • Performing data entry duties regarding metrics, sales figures and other key data.
  • Completing clerical and administrative duties for sales team where needed e.g. scheduling appointments, answering customer questions
  • Compile ang generate some reports for the sales manager
  • Support generation of regular market intelligence for the sales team to ensure updated market insights.
  • Account and customer management for lower segments.
  • Living the Seriteq Values and completing recommenced online trainings for personal development.
  • Maintaining an accurate database and ensuring assigned sales reporting is done as expected.

  • Good sales and customer management will be advantage
  • Diploma/Degree in Sales Administration, and/or Customer Service
  • 2years with sales administration experience preferably an ISP or a telecommunication environment will be an advantage
  • Driver’s license is an added advantage
