Introduction

AMB is seeking highly motivated Sales Agents to drive growth by promoting Agora Microfinance Botswana’s product and services. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast paced, target driven environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

AMB is a financial institution in Botswana that primarily focuses on providing microfinance services to low-income, SMEs and small-scale businesses, registered entities and entrepreneurs who may not have access to traditional banking services. AMB is part of a broader movement of microfinance organizations (Agora Microfinance NL) aimed at promoting financial inclusion and supporting economic empowerment.

AMB has identified key geographies where the Direct Sales Agents will be domiciled:

• Gaborone 4
• Palapye 1
• Francistown 2
• Kanye/Jwaneng 1
• Maun 1
• Selibe Pikwe 1

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Lead Generation and Sales – Identify and originate deals through selling ABM’s products and services to new and existing customers.
• Market Insights – Generating and providing insights about market trends and customers needs across the various jurisdictions identified across Botswana
• Customer Experience – Ensure excellent service standards are maintained through-out the customer interaction process
• Reporting – maintain accurate records of leads , sales activities and customer interactions
• Collaboration – work closely with internal teams to align sales strategies and share market feedback

Qualifications

• Certificate in Sales, Accounting or business studies
• Certificate of Proficiency in Long term Insurance and Short-term Insurance
• Experience in sales or customer facing role would be an added advantage.
• Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing (preferred)
