Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all the financial aspects of the Company including the flow of financial information to the Executive Director, the Executive Board, and external stakeholders.
• Overall control of the company’s accounting function, including preparation of the annual financial statements.
• Financial planning, formulating financial targets and budgets in accordance with the strategy set by the Board.
• Setting up and overseeing the company’s internal control systems, including overall control of all financial transactions and accountancy matters.
• Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding the company’s financial affairs, in particular attending to all company secretarial duties.
• Liaison with the company’s external auditors and ensuring that all audit requirements, particularly those for the annual year end audit, are met on time.
• Tax planning and ensuring that all the tax affairs of the company are attended to efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• A First Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional Qualification; CIMA, ACCA, CA & BICA.
• MBA will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years senior management experience in financial management
• Solid exposure to management of a large team
• Associate or Fellow Member of Botswana Institute of Accountants
• Good inter-personal skills
• Be a self – starter
• A good communicator, both orally and written
• A team person
• Positive and enthusiastic
• Security industry experience
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
