Project Engineer – Tenable in Ghanzi

Role Summary & Reporting

Supervises construction of the amp infrastructure and process plant construction by ensuring compliance to specifications, QA/QC standards and safety regulations. The role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to operate at a strategic level and identifying priorities. The position is site-based (The mine site is located 70km NE of Ghanzi) and reports to the Construction Manager.

Key Performance Areas

• Ethical leadership of the workforce and promotion of Company values in the local community;
• Development and promotion of safe working practices;
• Making sure all work is done to specification and relevant QA/QC standards.
• Verifying quantity’s for interim payment certificates, and making sure contractor adhere to a schedule.
• Effective management of Subcontractors
• Assist with the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan.
• Initiating and maintaining accurate timely reporting stands throughout the project build.
• Assist with any administrative work necessary.

• Extensive knowledge of construction management.
• Strong understanding of OHS&T best practice.
• Appropriate organisational climate, morale and overall values alignment

• Good presentation skills.
• English language

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil and building construction projects
• Degree in civil engineering or building construction
• Proficient in Microsoft office package and Auto Cad
